The Shire of Caer Adamant has several on-line forums through which the populace can communicate. Please read the Mission Statements below to decide where the information you would like to share should be directed.

Shire of Caer Adamant Populace e-mail list (“Populace” list):

This e-mail discussion list was established and is maintained for the populace of the Shire of Caer Adamant. Its purpose is to disseminate important Shire, Kingdom, and Society information to the residents of the Shire.

This is a moderated list. A message sent to populace@caer-adamant.org is received first by Shire Officers. A single officer can approve the message and forward it to the rest of the list members. If an officer rejects the posting it will be returned to the sender. Officers are encouraged to include an explanation for the rejection.

Due to its “important announcements” nature, this is a fairly low-traffic list.

Shire of Caer Adamant Yahoo! Groups list:

The Yahoo! Groups list was established to encourage discussion and communication among Shire members and friends. Posts to this list are un-moderated and can include SCA-related questions, requests for information on a medieval topic, requests for help, invitations to carpool, links to sites of interest, and general positive chitchat.

Due to its informal nature, this list may be quite active at times.

The Fort Knights list is a single post each month announcing the availability of the new edition of The Fort Knights on the Shire website.

This list was established for the dissemination of information to and discussion among heavy weapons combatants.

The “Shire of Caer Adamant” Pennsic encampment e-mail list:

There is a group of Shire members and friends who traditionally camp together at Pennsic. Although it is not a Shire of Caer Adamant-sponsored encampment, it is open to Shire members and friends and carries the Caer Adamant name. This e-mail list was established to facilitate discussion among these campers.
