The Coopers require all campers to have permission from the group's Land Agent prior to registering. Lady Hedewigis is the Land agent and will be doing Land Grab. But I will be receiving all request to camp and compile the list of this years campers, for her. I am doing it to take some of load off of are Seneschal. Please do not register first and ask permission later. It is not fair to those who follow the rules. A list of rules to ensure an enjoyable camping experience and to avoid any misunderstanding of how the camp will run will be posted soon. All camp members are expected to join the Caer Adamant Pennsic Yahoo! group (go to the Shire web site to find it). This is our primary means of communication. The Society for Creative Anachronism Inc. is accepting applications for the new position of Marketing Deputy. The Marketing Deputy will develop and direct coordinated marketing programs and projects for SCA Inc. These programs will use marketing assessments and initiatives to enhance new member acquisition, current member retention and member development. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design and develop strategic and tactical marketing plans for the SCA. Support the Society Chatelain and other SCA officers to facilitate implementation of marketing plans. Specifics could include organizing and implementing recruitment-focused marketing initiatives such as social networks and web-based multimedia. This position is a deputy of the Society Seneschal and will work closely with the Society Media and Society Chatelaine deputies as well as members of the Board of Directors. Thursday 6/23 at 7pm in my studio. As always everyone is welcome, no experience needed and I have supplies to share. This may be your last chance to attend one before Pennsic. I am not going to Pennsic so if there are people interested in coming in July I can still have Scriptorium. I may need to change the night we meet on for the fall. Emma will be in marching band and will have rehearsals on Thursday evenings & I'll have to pick her up.
