Dover Days is a week away - this saturday!? The time of year for Dover Days has come again. We will be participating inDover Days with an encampment again this year as we have in the past. Our groupis also signed up to walk in the parade in the morning. Dover days is onSaturday, May 7th this year. Our position on the green will be changing a bitthis year, I will post a more detailed location description once I have it. (Ibelieve that we will be around where the WWII people were last year... the CivilWar people will be elsewhere) Event details at a glance: Parade line up is at 8:45 am, set up will need to happen before the parade lineup - the streets around the Green usually close around 8 although I haven't been given a time yet.?Activities on the Green are running 9 am until 5 pm, Break down after 5Everything is happening in historic Dover - around the block from the DoverLibraryBring projects to show or work on, fighters are needed for fighting demos Please keep in mind ways to make our set up presentable to the public (cloth tocover chairs, coolers and armor bags... etc) If you are bringingchildren/family/friends - please have them in garb if they will be hanging outin the camp with us! If you plan to camp with "Shire of Caer Adamant" please make sure that you email Padraig (and receive a reply) prior to submitting your pre-reg. As with any group, you must pre-reg if you want a space with our group in N-34. He was a fighter, a cook, a cordial-maker, a host, and most of all, a friend to many. His passing will leave a hole in the lives of the many people he touched.
