Letters of intent (with proof of membership) need to be turned in before the start of the January meeting on the 18th at 6:45 pm at the Corbet-Calloway Library. They can be sent by e-mail to me by the 17th or handed to me before the meeting starts. Proof of membership to be an officer is a Society requirement. Offices with a two year term are, Seneschal, Chatelaine, Minister of Arts and Sciences, and Captain of Archers. Offices with a one year term (remainder of current term) are, Exchequer, Herald, and Chronicler Those wishing to vote need proof of membership and Shire residency. If you wish an absentee ballot can be set to me prior to the Feb. meeting. Officers reports:Seneschal (acting) /Padraig : Baroness Hedewigis has been appointed East Kingdom Seneschal. Vivates ! As her Deputy I will serve the remainder of her term, till February, when elections will take place.Knight Marshal / Mark : Practices at Glasgow continue and we have moved closer to the road. This has given us more exposure to the public. Looking into a winter weather site.Exchequer / Kael : Balance $6,375.46 Two checks were issued for the up coming Everyday Thynge event,Chronicler / Alexi : Kingdom report will be sent next week.MoAS / Margaret : Kingdom report sent. Contacted by an individual from Wilm. with an interest in sewing. Looking to start a data base for A & S supplies and contact info.Herald / Shoshana : No newsChatelaine / Magdalena : absentCaptain of Archers / Padraig : Its Winter, practices will resume in the Spring. Old Business : Web Site upgrade : Shoshana offered that she could do it through a web site that cost $200 the first year and $ 240 each year after wards . Alexi has a friend that can set it up for $250 and approx.$25. per year. That seems to be the best offer yet.
